Bring your friends and have a spooky, birthday ghost tour at Fort Amherst.  Suitable for youngsters from 8- 15, our ghost tour includes very dark tunnels, costumed characters and special effects.  After the tour you can have supper in the heart of the tunnel complex. 

Optional extras include having a real glowing fire (bring your own marshmallows); plug in some music and you have got a real party going! 

We can cater for up to 24 children.  Tours followed by a buffet supper in the tunnels are priced at £10.00 per child. 

"We had a great time at Fort Amherst - it was obvious that all of the volunteers had gone out of their way to ensure that the birthday ghost tour was a complete success. The girls were scared from the moment they set foot in the tunnels - that's when the screaming started and it didn't really stop until we got back out into the daylight!  The misty atmosphere, together with the eerie stories, really set the scene and kept everybody completely engrossed (and, in some cases, petrified!) throughout. The caterers pitched the buffet just right for a group of teenagers and there was the added bonus of being able to eat in the tunnels too. I think it's fair to say that it was an evening which everybody will remember for quite some time to come and we would certainly recommend the tour to anybody thinking of a novel, value-for-money birthday party.
